Screening Project #01:
Screening Dialogue in Asia
This project screens works and fosters dialogue by artists who conduct their work through extensive research and communication. The themes they each address are varied: the natural environment, energy issues, childbirth, care work, lost languages, and family relationships. What they all have in common is that they all sincerely address familiar experiences and the relationships they have built up over time.
Please join us for a chance to experience and discuss the works of artists who look at various social issues from things that are close to us and adjacent to us.
Research Project #01:
People who connect society and art
We will be researching how art can interact with society, and will be showcasing video interviews with people who are engaged in various initiatives to connect art and society, in an attempt to use art to learn about and accept the diverse people who exist in society who are different from ourselves.
